C&M Corporation orchestrated a strategic alliance with two of its venders to save the day for a new customer who had a large contract with a French Electric Utility. The new customer called on C&M in a panic as they were in danger of losing the sale due to their original supplier’s lack of response. C&M and its partners pulled out all the stops to design a custom cable assembly, which required two mold tools and a unique custom PCB. C&M enlisted the help of one of their venders to produce raw PCB units and another to print the boards, which were in-turn assembled, overmolded and shipped to save the contract. This is a prime example of how companies need to work together to compete in the world marketplace.
