Manufacturers using robots and other production equipment to build military, medical, industrial and other devices may be impacted by recent standards changes published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), a leader in fire, electrical and building safety. Specifically, the new NFPA 79 text closes loopholes for machine equipment applications that may have used UL AWM wiring in place of UL listed cabling products. If you need to upgrade your production equipment or have new equipment that requires UL listed cable, C&M has a wide array of UL Listings that can be used to comply with the new NFPA 79 requirements. In the event that we do not have a UL Listing suitable, C&M engineers will obtain the necessary approvals required for compliance. Contact C&M Corporation for more details.
